Korean President Moon Jae-in held a meeting in Seoul with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg on Feb. 15, 2018 on the occasion of her visit to South Korea for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and discussed ways to bolster cooperation on the Olympic Games and state of affairs on the Korean Peninsula. During the meeting, Norwegian PM Solberg, Co-Chair of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Advocacy Group, highlighted how sports and education were crucial to promote the achievement of the UN’s 2030 Development Agenda and the 17 UN SDGs. She introduced a very efficient awareness-raising tool to President Moon: the SDGs branded football.
