Vatican Youth Symposium 2019 - Vatican City

Amb. DHO Young-shim, Chairperson of the UN SDGs Advocates Alumni and Chair of ISTO - International Travel & Sports Organization for Peace and Prosperity, attended the 2019 Vatican Youth Symposium on October 16 under the theme Intergenerational Leadership: Laudato Si’ and the Sustainable Development Goals, at Casina Pio IV in Vatca, City. 
In particular, she was one of the panelists of the opening session of the Symposium, aimed at looking at the role of youth leadership in instilling the SDGs, the Paris Climate Agreement, and Laudato Si’ around the world.
Other panelists included Monsignor Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo, Chancellor of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences (PAS), Professor Jeffrey Sachs Director of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), Special Advisor on SDG’s to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Professor Lorenzo Fioramonti, Minister for Education, Universities and Research, Graça Machel, Founder of The Graça Machel Trust, and Siamak Sam Loni, Founder of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network - Youth.
