Promoting SDGs and Education to high-level officials during 2018 PyeongChang

​During the opening ceremony of the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in PyeongChang on March 9, Amb. Dho Young-shim, Chairperson of UNWTO ST-EP Foundation and UN SDGs Advocate, met Mr. José Ramón Lete, President of the Spanish National Sports Council (Consejo Superior de Deportes, CSD).  CSD is the government organization under the the Ministry of the Presidency, in charge of directing the development of sport at national level.
As a continuation, Amb. Dho organized a meeting with Mr. Lete and H.E. Mr. Gonzalo Ortiz Díez-Tortosa, Ambassador of Spain to the Republic of Korean, to discuss about promoting SDGs leardership through sports and education, as well as a project of establishing a The “Public-Private Leadership Academy” in Madrid, Spain. This  PPL Academy, , which would offer customized education, training, capacity-building, and awareness-raising programs to executive officers from public and private organizations, with a focus on leadership and governance as tools for global sustainable development.
